Algodon Wine's En Primeur program awards customers the opportunity to "invest" in our exclusive, limited production wines while they are still aging in the barrel, before being released onto the market. This buying process is commonly practiced in Bordeaux, and embraced by the most sophisticated wine buyers and merchants.
Buying in the early stages extends insight into the quality of that year’s harvest, which affects the direction of that vintage’s quality. This allows winelovers to buy with confidence and make informed decisions on their investment.
Creating our En Primeur wines is a totally handmade process from start to finish, utilizing exceptional fruit from vines that date as far back as 1946. These ultra-fine wines are produced in very limited quantities, and can only be purchased by the case (12 bottles per case). Orders can be expected to be delivered approximately 24 months after the vintage.
