Mirroring the success of its predecessor the Argentine Malbec, the Bonarda grape is now capturing the attention of wine connoisseurs and consumers all around the world. Due to the county’s ideal growing conditions, winemakers have been able to identify and unlock this varietal’s high-end winemaking potential. Indeed, Argentina has cornered the market because it is perhaps the only country producing high quality Bonarda varietals and blends, which virtually eliminates competition from other world-wine centers.
We believe the Bonarda can soon reach the blockbuster success and acclaim that the Argentine Malbec has known. And though there are many other wineries in Argentina that are creating some spectacular vintages, Algodon Wines is on a quest to create the best Bonarda in the world. We believe that we are well on our way in doing so.
